- Chonia® è un innovativo inoculo micorrizico. I batteri della rizosfera in esso contenuti consentono lo sviluppo di particolari microrganismi che prediligono elevati contenuti proteici. Tra questi soprattutto in terreni sabbiosi, ricchi di acqua, e nei periodi con temperature elevate si sviluppano funghi proteolitici selvatici del genere Pochonia chlamydosporia, Arthrobotrys oligospora, ecc. Questo consorzio di microrganismi permette alla pianta di aumentare lo sviluppo del proprio apparato radicale mediante la produzione di nuove radici secondarie, in sostituzione di quelle danneggiate, e crea una sorta di barriera “microbiologica” alla penetrazione dei funghi dannosi.
- Le piante trattate con Chonia, assumono un colore verde più intenso, dovuto, tanto alla produzione da parte dei batteri rizosferici di sostanze ormono-simili, che alla formazione di siderofori, per l’apporto di ferro organico, prontamente disponibile per la pianta.
- I terreni trattati con Chonia, manifestano una scarsa propensione ad essere infestati dai nematodi radicicoli e alla loro ovideposizione.
