Soi istoric semi-timpuriu de pastă galbenă cu formă alungită caracteristică.

Potrivit pentru toate mediile de cultivare, în special pentru Centru-Sud Italia, inclusiv insulele.

Excelent pentru productivitate și rusticitate. Potrivit în bucătărie pentru toate utilizările; excelent pentru fripturi.

Cartofi destul de fermi, potriviți pentru toate utilizările. Se estompează ușor și fulgi la scurt timp după gătit. Aromă delicată, slab făinoasă și nu foarte umedă. Are o conținutul mediu de substanță uscată între 18-22%. Destul de bine ca salata de cartofi, excelent coapte și prăjite, dar nu excelent pentru preparare de gnocchi și piure de cartofi.

De asemenea, potrivit ca un cartof de salată cu pulpă fermă. Nu se estompează, este foarte granulat aromă fină și delicată, are, de asemenea, un conținut scăzut de substanță uscată (17-19%). Excelent pentru aburire, bun ca cartofi au gratin, dar nu potrivit pentru piure de cartofi sau găluște.
