Cel planta arată ca un alpinist destul de viguros atunci când scalar copt; Păstăile sunt de culoare verde, cu dimensiuni de aproximativ 14-15 cm lungime și 2-2,5 cm lățime. Sămânța, de dimensiuni mari (2-2,5 cm x 1,5 cm), are o formă ovală ușor reniformă și zdrobită, colorație albă, ca o fasole albă din Spania sau Corona din care probabil derivă. Fasolea este folosită decojită proaspete sau uscate, în general, în combinație cu feluri de mâncare din carne de porc. Ca o fasole are o piele usor consistenta si aluat fainoase dar moale
Pentru pregătirea solului se efectuează o arat ușor (25 - 30 cm) urmată dintr-o chinuire prin care se efectuează administrarea îngrășămintelor, în general organică. Recoltarea se face manual de la capăt din iulie până în septembrie; produsul este uscat în curtea fermei la soare și, apoi, este selectat. Fasolea este destul de productivă și poate fi recoltată aproximativ 40-50 de q.li/ha de produs proaspăt.
